Blogging in Castelldefels

I presented a 3 hour workshop on blogging and other things to this group of public officials from Castelldefels, Lleida, Barcelona, and other Spanish municipalities.

Gothic District of Barcelona

Carlos was kind enough to pick me up at the Barcelona airport and take me on a walk around the Gothic district of Barcelona.

Microcar

I got a kick out of these microcars. You don't even have to have a drivers license to drive one as long as you are 14 years old.

Plaza Cervantes

This year is the 500th anniversary of the birth of Cervantes who lived and worked here in Alcala de Henares.

Autopistas

Spain has changed a lot since I was previously in the country 26 years ago. At that time there weren't any freeways. Traveling across the country was a slow process. Now, you can take the train from Madrid to Sevilla in about two hours. The freeways offer another alternative with speed limits around 120 kilometers/hour. Here, we are on our way to Alcala de Henares from the Madrid airport.

Visiting the Madrid Temple with Mariola

Mariola picked me up at the airport and then we headed over to the temple in Moratalez where we met up with Bonifacio.
